Questions about payments

How do I pay?

Through Stripe, the payment processor. AutoLey never sees or stores your card details.

Does the license expire?

No. The license is a one-time payment and never expires. Research plans are the only recurring charges, and they're optional.

How many computers can I use AutoLey on?

Each license works on 2 computers. If you need more, contact us.

What counts as a search?

Each new search counts once. More pages of results or opening an opinion don't count. The count resets every midnight, Puerto Rico time.

Can I cancel a research plan?

Yes, any time, from Billing in My account. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period and then returns to the 10 included daily searches.

Can I use my own CourtListener account?

Yes. If you connect your own account in AutoLey, your searches go straight to CourtListener and don't count toward your daily limit.
